Eyes Up: An Evening of Performance, Purpose, and Reclaiming Humanity for the Next Generation

Eyes Up co-founders and Hollywood Producers Janet & Jerry Zucker in partnership with the Human Change Foundation invite you to an exclusive evening for artists, changemakers, humanists, and parents who want a more human future for their children in the age of AI. As technology accelerates, we've been sold a single message: that productivity, efficiency, and automation are our highest values. But the reality we're living tells a different story, one of polarization, loneliness, and disconnection. As short-form content floods our feeds, attention spans shrink, and the line between human and machine blurs, human-led creativity has never been more urgent to remind us what makes us human, and to pass that humanity and resilience on to the next generation. Eyes Up is a new initiative built to meet this moment. There are many worthy groups fighting the same fight. We believe that activating the fullness of culture is an essential part of the work to safeguard future generations. That’s our role—a combination of the most important and committed names from Broadway, Hollywood, and music along with the full artistic community plus scientists and researchers. The alarms have been  sounded. Research and policy are in motion.  Legislators have been activated. But they cannot carry this alone. Culture has to move in lockstep. We hope you will join us for a very special and unusual evening at The Cutting Room with Tom Kitt, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, orchestrator, lyricist and producer, alongside Broadway stars Adrienne Warren, Jenn Colellla and Lencia Kebede, where this diverse community will share one important stage. Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the UN's first Global Advocate for Human-centric Digital Governance, will also take the stage. Be prepared for four compelling acts, each of which celebrates something that digitalization  is insidiously taking from childhood—connection, imagination, resilience, purpose. Plus, an original song written for this night, that will be heard for the first time.  We chose the heart of U.N. week because it is a perfect time to convene individuals like you, who care passionately about the future of the world’s children. An entire world of expression, imagination, and creativity is waiting to have us restored to our human condition.
