Artificial Intelligence is impacting every industry segment and commercial operation. It is also affecting the creative fields in equally disruptive ways. Practitioners in all mediums are facing a steady stream of tools and services powered by AI.
This Special Interest Group will explore how creators are reckoning with the impacts, opportunities, and challenges these new AI systems create. And what better location to explore these ideas than our own center for art and design at Ringling College? Faculty from Ringling College and the Center for the Creative Economy will lead a presentation and discussion on the topic.
What to expect
We will start with networking and light refreshments. Then a moderated presentation and discussion will run for about an hour. We will leave time at the end for follow-up questions and individual connections. Attendees can expect to learn about how AI is impacting the creative field.
Logistics
We will meet in the Larry R. Thompson Academic Center at Ringling College of Art and Design in the Morganroth Auditorium (building 29 on the campus map). Look for signs.
Parking will be available across campus. The nearest parking areas are lots 30-34 on the campus map.
As this is a classroom setting, we will provide non-alcoholic beverages.
We will network in the lobby area initially and then move into the auditorium to begin the program at 6pm.
