Decoding COGE with Abundance NY & Citizens Union

Abundance New York and Citizens Union present a conversation about Mayor Mamdani's Commission on Government Efficiency (COGE) charter amendments on the ballot this November.

What will these ballot props do if passed? How do they fit into addressing New York's larger affordability, safety, sustainability, and state capacity needs? We'll moderate three quick conversations about the housing, public realm, and good government implications of the proposed COGE amendments.

Panelists will include:

Ann Cheng, Executive Director, COGE

Andrew Rigie, Executive Director, New York City Hospitality Alliance

Annemarie Gray, Executive Director, Open New York

Ben Furnas, Executive Director, Transportation Alternatives

Carlina Rivera, President & CEO, New York Association-Affordable Housing
