A conversation + workshop with a personal stylist
At some point, you open your closet and realize:
I have clothes. Why do I suddenly hate all of them?
Maybe your body has changed. Maybe your proportions have changed. Maybe your job, your life, or your tolerance for uncomfortable pants has changed. Maybe the things you wore five or ten years ago technically still fit, but somehow don't feel like you anymore.
And figuring out what does can be surprisingly hard.
For November’s Our Changing Bodies gathering, we’re bringing in Chelsea K. Ray, a personal stylist, to help us think differently about getting dressed in the bodies we have now.
This isn't about dressing to look younger, disguising the parts of ourselves we're supposed to dislike, or learning a bunch of rules about what women "our age" should wear.
Hard pass.
Instead, we'll talk about proportion, fit, shape, comfort and personal style and how to build a wardrobe that works for your actual body and your actual life.
Bring your questions. Bring the clothing problem you cannot seem to solve. Bring the jeans you keep putting on and immediately taking back off.
Mostly, bring the body you have.
We're getting dressed again.
