Build Fast, Ship Faster

Build Fast, Ship Faster

A fireside chat with the Folio founders & STVN

The people in Da Nang who actually ship will be in this room on Sunday night.

Two Canadian founders share how they build with AI as a team of two, why they walked away from a working product, and how they get new ideas into users’ hands in weeks instead of months. Then you try Folio on the night it goes public, and tell them what should ship next.

Founders, developers, digital nomads, people using AI to get more done, people curious about blockchain or fintech, students with an idea. If that is you, come.

The founders

Liam and Mikail have spent decades between them in finance, software and startups. For the past four and a half years they have worked as partners, building AI and blockchain products and the infrastructure behind protocols that have moved tens of millions of dollars. In the last nine months they have won 10 hackathons and startup competitions, including Colosseum Canada Demo Day. That is what shipping with AI looks like.

The fireside chat

Liam and Mikail walk through their last year. Shipping with AI as a team of two, killing a working product, and getting Folio in front of users.

Build at AI speed. How a two-person team prototypes in days, where AI saves real time and where it does not, and what 10 hackathons in a year taught them about shipping under pressure.

Know when to pivot. Why they walked away from a working product in a much bigger market to build Folio, and how they test whether an idea deserves their time.

Find your founder-passion fit. Market demand is half the question. The other half is whether you want to wake up and work on it for the next ten years.

Get it into people’s hands. Distribution, partnerships and co-marketing that win first users without a marketing budget.

Then try Folio

The evening also celebrates the public launch of Folio, a new consumer fintech app built for everyday people. The blockchain is in there; you never have to see it. You will be among the first to try it, and your feedback helps shape what ships next.

Stay for the room

Stick around for food, drinks and the conversations. The people are the point: founders, developers, nomads, and people with an idea they have not said out loud yet. Say yours. If you are building something, join Liam and Mikail for informal founder office hours. Bring your questions, show what you are working on, and get honest feedback.

The night also kicks off the 35-Day Folio Challenge. Explore new features as they roll out, share feedback, earn XP, and compete for prizes including a Solana Seeker phone and a Ledger hardware wallet.

Hosted by Folio, with support from Superteam Vietnam, Superteam Canada and Da Nang Blockchain Hub.
