BRANCH: An Interactive Storytelling Challenge
Presented by Interact Studio, Powered by CtrlMovie
What if the audience didn't just watch your story, but got to decide how it unfolds?
BRANCH is a two-week creative challenge bringing together filmmakers, screenwriters, designers and engineers to experiment with interactive storytelling.
Create an original branching story where audience choices shape the narrative, influence characters and lead to different outcomes. Think filmmaking meets choose-your-own-adventure.
Kickoff - November 9
We'll kick things off by:
Introducing the tools and resources available to participants.
Forming teams and connecting creators.
Hosting a special session with CtrlMovie on branching storylines and interactive storytelling.
Can't make the kickoff?
You can still participate! Register for the event, and we'll help match you with teammates and share the tools, resources and updates through our Discord community.
What's Next?
November 16 - Midpoint Workshop: Get guidance on storytelling, branching narratives and editing.
November 20 - Premiere & Showcase: Present your finished experience at a live showcase and experience what other teams have created.
Who Should Join?
Filmmakers, screenwriters, storytellers, animators, designers, creative technologists and engineers. No prior experience with interactive storytelling is required.
Come experiment with what's next in entertainment.
