the scene 002 - art x AI

What happens when artists and AI builders come together, not to automate creativity but to question, experiment and make something new?

the scene is an experimental evening where art, technology, and human curiosity meet. We’re bringing artists, musicians, creative thinkers, AI builders and vibe coders into one room and pairing them up to work on real human problems.

How it works

When you sign up, you tell us a bit about yourself and choose the problems you care about most. On the night, our matching app puts you in a small team with people who care about the same problem but bring completely different skills. Every team gets a starting challenge, like:

Why are we building robots to provide companionship and care? Are we solving loneliness, or making up for the ways we’ve failed each other?Could we build an interactive simulation that reimagines homelessness and housing?

These are starting points, not assignments. If your team finds a better question, go for it.

The one rule

Whatever you make has to be about people: helping them or helping us see something differently. An interactive artwork, a simulation, a performance tool, an installation that makes you uncomfortable or something that doesn’t have a name yet. What doesn’t count: marketing tools, productivity apps, or another AI wrapper.

How the evening unfolds

18:00 — Arrive, check in on the app, meet people

18:30 — Teams revealed, challenges handed out

19:00 — Experiment, build, improvise

21:00 — Showcase what you made

22:00 — Wrap up

Who’s this for?

Artists, musicians, designers, storytellers, developers, AI enthusiasts, and anyone curious about how technology and humanity fit together. You don’t need a team, an idea, or coding experience. The app handles the team. You bring your perspective.

No perfect products. No polished pitches. Just people, ideas, and what we can make together with strangers.

Come curious. Leave with something unexpected.
