RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE w/ track/record

there has never been a more opportune time to fight back in recent history than right now. the abuse of artificial intelligence, the brutal day-to-day effects of late-stage capitalism, and the requirement to go on about your day while living through unprecedented political turmoil have almost pushed us, as a people, to the point of no return. almost.

we believe there’s only one appropriate first step to take when being met with the weight of poor governance – RESIST. in light of the current early voting period and approaching 2026 Midterm Election Week, we’ve centered our contemporary selection around a genre and an album well-associated with and rooted in music of defiance, innovation, and resistance. the name Rage Against the Machine, with a self-titled debut, says it all. may we all be inspired and take the name as a call to action at the polls.

attendees are encouraged to listen to the album in advance using the t/r listening guide and resources posted to the staff's are.na channel (access will unlock three weeks before the meeting).
