design, content, research, product, strategy

Agenda:

Look for a small Design Soloists easel on a table. And a buncha nerds.

2:00-4:00 Co-working & mingling: Mostly heads-down work independently, but take a minute or two to say hi to each other, give a blurb about what you’re working on, and enjoy Sa-Ten’s excellent coffee and food. (Come-and-go as you’re available.)

4:00-5:00 Crit Sessions: Up to six 10-minute critique sessions for something you need input on. Could be a research plan, UI design, stakeholder presentation, or similar.

4min Presenters share: what you’re working on, brief context, what’s challenging you, and what kind of feedback you’re looking for.

6min Critiquers offer: questions, feedback, ideas, or resources.

House rules & audience:

All levels welcome, from student to principal to player-coach.

Respect each others’ time, attention, space, and personhood. If someone needs to be heads-down for time, leave them to it.

When someone is presenting work for crit, both presenter and audience will be attentive, constructive, and concise.

All work shown is considered to be confidential. By attending, you agree to not share personally identifying info or sensitive corporate data, nor record presenter materials or lift IP.

Looking forward to our pop-up design studio with y’all!
