A salon for Latina women building with AI.
Human in the Loop is the first Sobremesa of La Residencia, our opening event in New York: an evening for Latina women who are using AI, building with it, or just getting started, and want to stay the ones making the decisions.
Who you'll meet
Founders, creatives, consultants, and ambitious women building their careers and something of their own. Some are building with AI every day; some are just starting. All of them are making something. Come ready to tell us what you're working on, and to see what the Latinas next to you are building. The best part of rooms like this is who you walk out knowing.
Wait, what's a salon?
Not a panel. Not a class. Not networking with name tags. A salon is the oldest format for thinking together: one host, one question, and a room of people who came to actually talk. Salons started in Paris, hosted by women who chose who came and guided the conversation. We call ours Sobremesa, for the conversation that keeps going after the meal is over. No stage, no slides, no laptops. Everyone speaks, everyone listens, and nobody leaves the same.
You'll leave with
Real connections with Latina women who are building something: what they’re working on, and the conversations about AI happening in their industries.
Four questions to ask yourself every time you open AI
Your host
Clau Romero is a Peruvian brand and business strategist in New York. She builds with AI and keeps the decisions human: AI in service of your judgment, not the other way around. She is the founder of La Residencia.
About La Residencia
La Residencia is a community of Latina women where AI is learned and judgment is cultivated. Technology is within everyone's reach. Knowing what to do with it is what sets us apart.
