A two-day workshop by Recess. Two days of looking, remembering, and making, from the street to the cloth.
Day 01: Saturday, November 7, 8:00 to 11:00 AM
Slow Photography Walk, facilitated by Shanik Tanna
Sonndr Cafe, 1068 Dundas St W. The location will change if it rains, so keep an eye on your email.
Small groups at a single location. After a short, relaxed walk, we’ll settle into a carefully chosen spot with the time and space to observe light, notice what lingers, and make photographs worth holding on to.
Day 02: Sunday, November 8, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Image Transfer, facilitated by Sanjida Salman
Recess Studio, 401 Richmond St W, Suite 409
How do we give form to the things that live on in memory? This workshop invites guests to explore photography, nostalgia, and textiles through image transfers. In this beginner-friendly session, we’ll experiment with matte gel medium and laser-printed photographs to transform personal imagery into tactile keepsakes.
Spots are limited to 7. Registration requires approval, and a waitlist opens once full.
