Bring a subscription you’d like to stop paying for. Build its replacement in a day.

Hosted by Seldon, with support from Claude and judges from OpenAI, Amazon Lab126 and PayPal. Over $5k in prizes. A private speakeasy in SoMa.

Join us at the Seldon Speakeasy in San Francisco for a day of building, testing and rethinking the products we pay for. Then we open the bar.

🛠️ Pick your target.A dev tool, a design tool, a CRM - your call. Pick a workflow you could do better and build something people would actually switch to. Bring a team or find one when you arrive.

Build with anything. Test with Wren.Use your favourite stack and coding tools. We’ll provide access, credits and hands-on help for Wren, Seldon’s AI QA agent. Test real journeys through your app, fix what breaks and run it again.

🏆 Make something worth switching to.Our judging panel includes people from OpenAI, Amazon Lab126 and PayPal. Compete for best overall product, most original reinvention and people’s choice, with up to $5k in prizes, plus Claude API credits provided by the Anthropic team. Originality, usefulness and whether it actually works all count.

🍸 You’ve earned a drink. After demos and prizes, join us at the bar behind the red velvet curtains. Meet the other builders, swap ideas and celebrate what you managed to ship in a day. Evening drinks are for guests aged 21+ only. If you’re under 21, please leave by 8 PM.

To qualify for prizes: submit a working product and Wren test results for at least two core workflows, rerun against your final build.

Bring your laptop. We’ll see you at the speakeasy.
