Local AI Agent Workshop with Hermes & Google MCP Join us for a hands-on session on setting up Hermes, an AI agent that interacts directly with Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive. No coding experience is required — just bring your laptop and a Google account. By the end of the workshop, you will have a working Hermes instance capable of answering questions and taking actions across your own Google Workspace data. We will also explore how to run Hermes as an always-on agent for those looking to take their setup further. Prerequisites & Device Requirements BYOD: Bring your own laptop and charger. If running a Local LLM: Apple Silicon Mac with > 16GB Unified Memory Windows / Linux laptop with dedicated GPU (> 8GB VRAM) If using a Cloud Endpoint: Any laptop with a stable internet connection (SSH access to your homelab is also welcome!)
