Create your own sculptural paper lamp at the signature COMO DEMO Paper Lamp Workshop, a two-hour, artist-led experience rooted in the founder’s art practice.

🧩 Design and build your own lamp, play with shapes, get to know the materials, and watch your idea take form with guidance along the way.

🌀 Enjoy a meditative, hands-on process with room for curiosity, experimentation, and personal expression.

🤲 Some comfort working with your hands may be helpful, but no prior experience is required.

💡 Create a functional paper lamp, uniquely handmade by you, with all materials and lighting components included.

This October, COMO DEMO takes residence at Artists & Fleas Williamsburg with SPOTLIGHT, a month-long exhibition curated by founder Luciana Pérez.

Each workshop ticket includes a $15 credit to spend at the Artists & Fleas market, inviting you to stay, browse, and discover independent makers and vendors after your session.

Take time to learn a new skill, create alongside others, and enjoy the satisfaction of making something for your space with your own hands.

ARRIVALPlease arrive early or on time, as we’ll all start together. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you should not expect to finish your lamp by the end of class. Entry will not be permitted if you arrive 30 minutes late or later.

CANCELLATIONTickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Please double-check your calendar before purchasing. Can’t make it? You’re welcome to pass your ticket to a friend.

PHOTOGRAPHYWe document our gatherings. By attending, guests consent to being photographed. Images may be used by Artists & Fleas and COMO DEMO for documentation and promotion.

CLASS TIMINGWe’ll help you work toward finishing your lamp within two hours. Bringing an idea is encouraged, but not required. Come ready to create and open to the instructor’s guidance to make the most of your time.

SAFETYWe use hot glue guns and scissors during the workshop. Participants use these tools at their own risk.
