Temporal Developer Day in KL: Building “Invincible” Applications & Agentic Workflows

Build applications that can recover from failures without losing progress.

Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring Temporal, a Durable Execution platform that helps developers build reliable applications and AI workflows.

When networks go down, APIs fail or infrastructure becomes unavailable, your application needs to recover seamlessly. Learn how Temporal handles retries, state persistence and failure recovery, so you can focus on business logic.

What you’ll learn

Through scenario-based coding exercises and architectural deep dives, you’ll learn how to:

Simplify distributed architectures: Replace complex coordination logic, database polling and state machines with durable workflows.

Build resilient applications: Manage long-running processes, orchestrate services and recover from transient failures.

Improve developer productivity: Reduce defensive boilerplate code and the operational burden of managing failures.

Add agentic AI capabilities: Use your framework of choice to build long-running AI operations and agent workflows that can recover and resume after interruptions.

Who should join

Software Engineers & Developers building backend applications, workflows or AI agents.

Solution Architects & Tech Leads designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems.

Platform Engineers & SREs focused on application reliability, observability and operational efficiency.

What to bring

Your laptop with internet access.

Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Java or Go.

New to Temporal?

Temporal delivers an open source durable execution solution that abstracts away the complexity of building scalable distributed systems so developers can focus on what matters – delivering reliable applications, faster.
