Fast Forward is a one-day hackathon for builders creating what comes next: useful agents, multimodal AI apps, and immersive VR experiences.
Join Vercel + Meta, with support from integration partners Shopify and Neon Postgres, on Wednesday, October 14, from 10am–6pm in San Francisco. Build, experiment, and turn an idea into a working demo with mentor support, team collaboration, and live finalist presentations.
Choose your track
Agents & Factories: Build agents that keep producing useful work after you step away. Think research assistants, automated workflows, and systems that turn information into action.
Multi-modal Apps: Combine text, images, voice, and multiple AI models to create new ways to interact with software.
VR Apps: Build immersive web experiences with v0 and Meta’s WebXR tools.
Optional challenges (for chance to win prizes):
Build with commerce - build with a commerce experience in mind using Shopify Catalog, from product discovery to a shopping agent, for a chance to win an additional prize. Open to builders across all three tracks.
Race against a model - play an exclusive Vercel racing game, race against AI models (and win) for a chance to win prizes while supplies last.
What to expect
A full day of building, snacks and lunch, mentor support, and a chance to share what you’ve made. Come with a team or meet collaborators during team formation.Program
