Beginners Session
Learn. Practice. Build Confidence.
Whether you're brand new to mahjong or ready to build confidence after your first lesson, this three-week Session is designed to take you from learning the game to playing comfortably with others.
Week 1 (November 9) is Mahjong 101 and is required for all new players.
During Weeks 2 and 3, you'll return to the Studio for guided play, coaching, strategy, and plenty of hands-on practice so you're ready to join regular HMS Sessions and Open Play.

Players looking for a refresher before joining regular play
All players must have a 2026 National Mah Jongg League Card. You can order one from
