Join us for an intimate conversation between Haitian artist Mafalda Mondestin and our British Academy Global Professor, Marsha Pearce. Hear them explore questions of identity, place, and belonging, which feature in Mafalda’s creative practice and her experiences of living in Haiti, USA, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. Together, they also reflect on Mafalda’s participation in an artist residency at the Fitzwilliam Museum – a programme designed as part of Professor Pearce’s research project “Trembling Abode: Reimagining the Museum as Home for Global Majority Artists.”
