We're bringing The Fairway Social Club to the East Bay for the very first time!

Join us for a women-only Beginner + Intermediate Golf Clinic at Oakhurst Country Club on Sunday, November 15.

Here's what makes this one extra special: Oakhurst is a private, members-only country club, and they're opening their doors exclusively for the Fairway Social community. It's a chance to experience a private club, get some golf instruction, and meet other women who love golf (or are just getting started).

Whether you're completely new to golf, still getting comfortable with the basics, or looking to sharpen your swing, this clinic is a fun, low-pressure way to learn alongside other women.

We'll keep the group intimate with a maximum of 18 women, giving everyone more room to learn, practice, and get comfortable on the course.

No clubs? No problem. All golf equipment will be provided.

You don't need to be a member of the club, a golf expert, or come with a group. Just come ready to learn and meet the girls.

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the event to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event, including the event day, are not eligible for a refund.

Do I need to be a member of Oakhurst Country Club?

No. You do not need to be a member of the club. Oakhurst is opening its doors exclusively for the Fairway Social community for this event.

Is this only for beginners?

No. This clinic is open to both beginners and intermediate players.

What counts as beginner?

Beginner means you're new to golf, have only tried it a few times, or want a friendly, structured intro to grip, stance, swing basics, and feeling more comfortable on the course.

What counts as intermediate?

Intermediate means you've played or practiced before, know the basics, and want more coaching on consistency, ball striking, swing mechanics, or getting more confident on the course.

How many people will be in the clinic?

The clinic is capped at 18 women and designed to stay intimate, with a 1:6 PGA instructor-to-player ratio.

Do I need to bring my own clubs?

No. All golf equipment will be provided, so you can show up without clubs.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that you can move in. Golf attire, tennis skirts, athletic dresses, polos, workout sets, or casual activewear all work. Flat sneakers or golf shoes are best.

What time should I arrive?

Arrival and check-in start at 12:30 PM, so you can settle in and meet other women before the clinic. Instruction begins at 1:00 PM.

Is food or drinks included?

Yes. We'll have snacks and drinks available during the post-clinic social hour.

Will there be goodies?

Yes. Everyone will get Fairway Social goodies.

Can I come alone?

Yes, most people do. The whole point is to meet other like-minded women who want to try new things, get outside, and get better at golf.

Can I request to be in the same group as a friend?

Yes. After registering, send us your friend's name and we'll do our best to place you together.

Is this women-only?

Yes. This event is designed for women and is open to the entire Fairway Social community.

What happens if I join the waitlist?

If you join the waitlist, you may see a temporary authorization hold on your card. You will not actually be charged unless a spot opens up and you are moved off the waitlist into the event.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We'll communicate any weather-related changes directly to registered attendees.

Do I need to be a Fairway Social member?

No. There are no membership fees and no prior Fairway Social events required. Just sign up and show up.
