About the session

Are you looking for a thesis project, a supervisor, a collaboration opportunity, or simply a way to contribute to making AI safer? Come meet Safe AI Netherlands (SAIN) and discover how you can get involved.

Explore opportunities ranging from research projects to other initiatives, meet the people behind SAIN Amsterdam, and find out how your interests and skills could contribute to safe AI.

No project idea yet? No problem. Come curious, leave inspired.

The session will be hosted by SAIN Amsterdam's Research Operations people, Satchit and Michele, and SAIN Amsterdam's Director Ana. We will focus on SAIN's research opportunities, but feel free to ask about our courses, events and other project opportunities!

What Can You Work On?

The potential thesis projects VU Students could do through SAIN affiliated researchers include:

Reward hacking in LLM agents trained on verifiable rewards

AI safety in universal AI using mathematical model of maximally intelligent AI (in collaboration with AIXI labs in London)
