We're taking Gold Coast Design Thinking off the screen and onto the trail for a walk around the Twin Falls Circuit in Springbrook, a stunning 4.3km loop through rainforest and waterfalls in the hinterland.
Think of it as a casual catch up with better scenery. Bring your curiosity, leave the laptop at home, and enjoy some fresh air with the design and tech crowd.
When: Sunday 1 November, 10amWhere: Canyon Park Lookout, Springbrook National ParkTrail: 4.3km circuit, moderate grade, roughly 1.5–2 hours walking but probably 3 hours (allow extra time to stop, chat and take it all in)

Good, sturdy footwear (the track has some rock hopping and gets slippery near the falls)
Water and a rain jacket, just in case
A friend, if you'd like one along
Families are welcome, kids included. It's an easygoing, family-friendly track.
Worth repeating: wear proper footwear. Thongs and waterfalls don't mix.
