Medal is one of the largest gameplay clip platforms in the world, with billions of clips of humans navigating 3D environments. General Intuition is the frontier research lab built on top of that data, training models that learn spatial and temporal reasoning from raw gameplay - with applications from games to robotics to public sector. General Intuition most recently raised $220M at a $6.2B valuation and is backed by investors such as Valor Equity Partners, Atreides Management, 776, Point72, Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst, and more.
The Medal and General Intuition teams are coming to Stanford for an afternoon of talks and Q&A across three areas:
Medal Commercial
General Intuition Research
General Intuition Commercial
Each session runs ~20–25 minutes with dedicated Q&A. The team may share unreleased research on their models and other findings.
This is a cross-school event — undergraduates, GSB, Engineering, d.school, PhD researchers, and other students all welcome. The team is actively interested in meeting researchers and engineers, including for internships and other opportunities.
Please note: portions of this session are confidential. All attendees must sign an NDA to enter the room. No recording or photography will be allowed during the research segment.
