East Sooke: Anderson Cove and Copper Mine Loop

This 7.1 km loop in East Sooke Regional Park delivers amazing views over Iron Mine Bay. Starting from the Anderson Cove trailhead, the route takes in coastline and forest, with the Copper Mine section passing an old cave from the area’s mining days.

The hike back along the Anderson Cove trail has some nice vistas and enough elevation to get the heart pumping.

Physical Expectation ✅A moderate loop — decent elevation gain in the back half, with uneven, rooty footing in spots. Can get muddy this time of year, so good grip helps.
