You’re invited to our AI Executive Brief Edition: Abundance or Armageddon. It takes place Friday, November 13 at UConn in Stamford, CT.
Jamie Dimon recently warned business leaders that cybersecurity threats have mounted sharply with the arrival of powerful new AI models, calling it “our biggest risk by far.”
And Bill Gates recently noted: “AI will either be the greatest equalizer ever invented, or the worst source of injustice." He said the challenge is "monumental” and we can expect a “20-year transition period… winners and losers and a lot of disruption.”
AI could bring real abundance to how we run businesses, move money, and build markets. It could also bring real trouble. This session's goal is to thoughtfully debate and sort the good, the bad and the ugly, while skipping the breathless headlines and hype.
We'll cover:• Where AI pays off, and where the pitch runs ahead of the product.• How smart companies are using it to scale, and how attackers use it against them.• What regulators and large organizations are likely to come out on the issue of what they will and won't deploy.• Data centers and infrastructure: can the grid and the land keep up?• Who wins and who loses ear and in the coming 20-year disruption.
The FormatWe'll start with a briefing from our panelists, move into discussion and debate on immediate problem areas, and finish with a short, practical workshop that can benefit many in our audience.
Our speakers have the right stuff: They've run technology, regulation, and consulting teams at Microsoft, BCG, EY, and Bridgewater Associates. They include:• Pete McEvoy, Managing Director, BRG• Sandeep Mangaraj, Co-founder, Aileron GroupMore announced in next few days.
Plus we have added a hands on workshop for this session. It will give you the steps to set up your own working AI agent in 30 minutes. We'll demo a set one up in the session. Stay for this one, it will run from our normal 11am close til noon.
Who should attend: Operating executives and their consulting partners, investors, founders, builders and anyone interested in navigating the AI revolution.
