Join Dehors Ensemble for a guided nature walk in Gatineau Park with Troy McMullin, research scientist in lichenology at the Canadian Museum of Nature. One of North America’s foremost lichenologists, Troy will introduce us to the remarkable world of lichens, from the trees and rocks they call home to the surprising relationships that make them possible.

Together, we’ll slow down, look a little closer, and discover the fascinating world of lichens. We’ll explore their diversity, ecology, and conservation, gaining a deeper appreciation for these often-overlooked organisms and the important roles they play in forest ecosystems. Leave with a fresh perspective on the forest around you.
