Hey Boston Generalists! 👋

Join Sarah Agopian-Khalifé and Madeline Brumberg for a day designed for focus, follow-through, and a midweek energy boost.

Whether you’re juggling multiple projects, building something new, job searching, or finally tackling that thing you’ve been putting off — this is your space to make meaningful progress alongside thoughtful humans.

☀️ What to Expect

A quick round of intros

Focused, heads-down work time

Casual connection with other Boston-based generalists

Coffee, laptops, and good momentum

No pressure to be “on” — just come ready to work, connect, and leave with something moved forward.

🍳 Food & Drinks

This is a buy-your-own kinda meetup. Coffee & beverages will be available at 10. Kitchen opens at 11:30. You can check out the full menu here.

Bring:

Your laptop

A clear priority (or two)

An openness to focused energy and good conversation

✨ A few important notes:

We’re intentionally keeping this group small to maintain a focused, productive atmosphere. Please RSVP only if you’re confident you can attend.

If you’re primarily looking for a social hang, this likely isn’t the right event. We’re creating a container for deep work and respecting the energy of people who want to get things done.

💜 Big thank you to Sophie and ES Hospitality for hosting us!

🚙 Getting to Eastern Standard

We’re at 775 Beacon St in Fenway, right at the edge of Kenmore Square.

By T: The Green Line’s Kenmore stop (B, C, D branches) is a two-minute walk.

By Commuter Rail: Lansdowne Station on the Framingham/Worcester Line is right next door — the Fenway Center pedestrian deck connects the platform directly to Beacon St, steps from the restaurant.

Street parking: Metered spots along Beacon St and Commonwealth Ave run $2.50/hour, Monday–Saturday 8am–8pm. Side streets off Beacon (Bay State Rd, Raleigh, Charlesgate) are mostly resident-only and strictly ticketed — stick to marked metered spots unless a sign explicitly allows visitors.

Public parking garages (all open to the public; SpotHero usually beats the rate):

Fenway Center Bower Garage — 771 Beacon St, same building as the restaurant

Kenmore Lot — 75 Brookline Ave, one block away

Van Ness Garage — 1325 Boylston St, about a 7-minute walk

By bike: Bluebikes station at Beacon St & Mass Ave, right outside.

This event is organized by Generalist World - a community for professionals with non-traditional careers. Everyone is welcome, whether you're a member or simply curious about connecting with adaptable, multi-skilled professionals.
