Two audiences, one stage

Small teams are startups building on Ruby. Big teams run Ruby at scale. While one is in a talk, the other is in a conversation group, then they swap. Keynotes are for everyone.

Day 1, AI-heavy: agents in production, AI in legacy codebases, and the Ruby tooling for both.

Opening keynote: Irina Nazarova (Evil Martians), "Why start a new company on Rails, and AI, today."

Talks: CJ Avilla (Anthropic), Sergey Karayev (Superconductor), Carmine Paolino (RubyLLM), Vladimir Dementyev and Svyatoslav Kryukov (Evil Martians), Madison Sites (Order.co), JP Camara (Wealthbox), Ben Sheldon (Frontdoor Benefits).

Closing keynote: Ryan Sherlock (Fin), "Who Watches the Agents? Closing the Rails Loop from Code to Customers."

Day 2, AI-light: queues, concurrency, real-time, open source, and the businesses built on them.

Opening keynote: Rosa Gutiérrez (37signals), "Solid Queue: two years on Rails."

Talks: Peter Zhu (Shopify), Phillip Campbell (Gusto), Alex Coomans (Persona), Jason Bosco (Typesense), Marco Roth (Herb), Celina Lopez (Primary Health), Cole Robertson (Rebulk), Jason Thomas (OpenC3).

Closing keynote: Chris Oliver (GoRails), "Rails: The Founder's Unfair Advantage."

Conversation groups

A smaller room, a host, and a minute on stage to introduce yourself. Everyone is invited to at least two groups with people who work on the same kind of system.

Day 1: startups and startup-minded engineers meet. Big teams share their agentic coding strategies. Small teams find their people in a matching game.

Day 2: big teams meet engineers. Startups meet VCs. Big teams compare Sidekiq, Solid Queue, GoodJob and more.
