Creative Thinking in Motion at ICN Berlin x Berlin Science Week

As part of the Citywide Program of the Berlin Science Week, spend an inspiring afternoon at ICN Berlin and discover how science helps us better understand society, and ourselves.

Join us from 2pm to discover the ICN Berlin Campus and experience several activities:

At 3pm🔹 Fuel Discount 2.0: Waste of Money or Effective Policy? How can we know whether government measures actually work? Through the example of Germany's 2026 Fuel Discount, discover how economists use data and advanced econometric methods to evaluate public policies and inform debates with evidence rather than intuition.

At 5pm🔹 Move. Think. Create. The Walking MindCan walking make us more creative? This hands-on workshop draws on research in embodied cognition and creativity to show how movement, perception, and our environment influence the way we think. Through simple exercises and reflection, participants will experience creativity in motion and learn practical techniques they can apply in everyday life.

Whether you are interested in economics, creativity, public policy, or simply curious about design thinking or how science shapes society, this event offers an accessible and engaging opportunity to experience research beyond the classroom.
