OCTOBER READ DISCUSSION: Circe by Madelline Miller

THE PEOPLE BOOK CLUB: OCTOBER’S READ 🏺📖

If you know The Odyssey, you know Circe as the “witch” who turned men into pigs.

But what if that’s only one side of her story?

This October, we’re reading Circe by Madeline Miller — a reimagining of one of mythology’s most misunderstood women.

Mocked, underestimated and eventually exiled, Circe is forced to build a life of her own — and discovers a power she never knew she had.

Expect conversations around womanhood, power, love, rage, loneliness, desire, motherhood, independence — and who gets to decide which women become the villains of history. 👀

Come having read the book, highlighted your favourite parts and ready to disagree.

☕️ Sunday, October 25📖 Morning Book Club🤎 Coffee, conversation & women worth knowing

Come alone. We’ll take care of the rest.
