Executive roundtable (@KubeCon): Is AI bringing bare metal back? On GPUs, Neoclouds & platforms

GPU workloads are bringing bare metal back to center stage.

Join Latitude and Platform Engineering for a closed-door roundtable at KubeCon Salt Lake City, where platform leaders and practitioners look at where bare metal infrastructure stands today and where it's headed next.

We'll cover current challenges like tight inventory and VM-style features like snapshots, debate whether the future belongs to hyperscalers or neoclouds, and unpack what all this means for platform engineering and AI teams.

In this roundtable, we'll discuss:

The bare metal comeback: whether AI and GPU demand are driving a return to bare metal, and if this is a new golden age or a temporary spike.

VM-grade conveniences on bare metal: snapshots, images and fast reprovisioning, plus how to plan inventory and capacity when hardware is scarce.

Where the market is heading: hyperscalers doubling down on bare metal, or neoclouds owning the GPU layer, and what each scenario means for your platform strategy.

It will be a candid, peer-led conversation with fellow platform leaders (no slides or sales pitches). This is an invitation-only event. Space is limited, and each request is reviewed personally. Appetizers and drinks will be provided.
