Know Where You Stand: Self-Assessment Using Innovation Readiness Levels

What would it take to say your venture is “ready”? In this session, we will walk you through the KTH Innovation Readiness Level™ (IRL) framework, an internationally recognized tool used by founders, funders, accelerators, and support organizations around the world, and growing in use across Alberta’s innovation ecosystem.

Within Innovation Readiness Levels, you can assess the progress, gaps, and needs of your venture in six areas: customer, technology, business model, intellectual property, team, and funding. The goal is to help you get your bearings, see where you are, and build out what your next steps may be.

Built Here. Backed Here.

Calgary Innovation Week is the city-wide moment that brings Calgary’s innovation ecosystem into full view. Across the week, founders, industry, investors, talent and community organizations come together to share what they’re building, make connections, and show the strength of what’s being built here – and backed – here.
