Dream, Discover, and Soar with American Airlines

Go behind the scenes for an exclusive Girl Scout experience you won’t find anywhere else! Explore the exciting world of aviation and discover the many careers that keep an airport running. Meet inspiring women pilots, airline attendants and flight crews, mechanics, security staff, and aviation professionals from American Airlines. Connect with TSA, airport police and firefighters, the Port Authority, and representatives from Vaughn College to learn about their roles and career journeys.

Enjoy lunch with women pilots, where you can ask questions and hear firsthand about their experiences, step inside the cockpit of an actual aircraft (and take the selfies to prove it!), and even taxi on a real plane over to the hangar. From the runway to the cockpit, the terminal to the hangar, discover the people, careers, and possibilities that make aviation take flight!
