Join a curated group of investors for an evening of conversation, networking, and dinner to discuss:

Can safer, sustainable battery chemistry compete at commercial scale?

Carlo Charles, founder and CEO of Flint, will join us to discuss the company he’s building and the opportunity he sees across consumer electronics, smart labels, IoT, wearables, and other emerging technologies.

Flint is developing cellulose-based batteries designed to provide a safer, non-toxic, and lower-carbon alternative to conventional battery chemistries. Its technology is intended to address applications where safety, sustainability, flexibility, and form factor are increasingly important.

Rather than treating battery innovation solely as a performance problem, Flint is focused on some of the constraints that increasingly determine where and how batteries can be deployed: toxicity, safety, sustainability, form factor, manufacturing, and end-of-life considerations. The company is working with global companies and manufacturing partners as it moves from R&D toward commercialization and scalable production.

We’ll use Flint as the starting point for a broader conversation about battery technology, sustainable materials, commercialization of deep technology, and where emerging battery chemistries could create new market opportunities.

Expect a candid fireside discussion + Q&A followed by dinner and open networking. The evening is intentionally designed to leave plenty of time to circulate, meet other guests, and continue conversations independently.
