Thinkin' Rocks: Nerd Out III

Hey! Nerd Out is finally back!

We (Thinkin' Rocks) wanted to give voices to people who are obsessed with things, who get nerd-sniped by a problem and spend a long time solving it. You don't have to be an expert or a professional. (xkcd/356)

If you want to speak, share an issue you were troubleshooting for eternity. Tell how an IMO problem ruined your sleep schedule. Investigate what makes sandwich products so prominent. Present a circuit diagram you spent an eternity designing (xkcd/730). Format is 10-12 minutes talk plus a short Q&A. Slides are preferable, but they don't need to be polished. We will reach out in advance to confirm your participation.Check out previous Nerd Out 2

If you just want to listen, register and show up. We never announce who's speaking, so you'll find out when they walk on stage.

Schedule

17:45 doors open

18:15 first three talks

~19:00 break, 20 min

~19:30 last three talks

20:15 post-event networking
