You can learn them in a few seconds and start having fun. They are not complex. Will there be photography? Yes. We may take photos and videos during the event. Due to the size of the lounge, we’re not able to exclude individuals from shots. Where might photos and videos appear? On our Instagram, website, emails, press coverage, and sometimes in partner or promotional material. What kind of people come? Curious, thoughtful, down-to-earth people. What topics do we talk about? Personal growth, relationships, identity, values, struggles, purpose and life direction, through to less serious topics too. What’s the vibe like? Informal, thoughtful and welcoming. A refined setting, signature drinks, games & conversation that goes a lot deeper than your usual night out. Who’s it not for? People who want surface level performative socialising or cringe networking. Will it be very intense? No. The aim is to use the games and conversation cards to build genuine connection, not to force vulnerability. You do not have to talk about anything you do not want to, such as trauma or things you may be working on in therapy. This is not a therapeutic space, though if you are comfortable discussing more difficult things, that will not be unwelcome. How does the format work? There are booths that fit 6 people, once everyone is seated, a variety of games are already on the tables. The hosts will come round and get you started, from there it's all about connection. Hosts are present throughout for safety, and to make sure everyone gets a chance to contribute equally. Do I have to play the games & conversation cards? We encourage it. The point of the social is to create a space where connection games & deeper conversation feels natural. If that does not appeal to you, this event may not be for you. Do I have to join in with the games? Yes please. That's the point of the social, joining in makes everyone enjoy it too. Nothing involves performing or being put on the spot alone, and nobody sits out unless they want to. Do I need to come with someone? No. Lots of people come alone. The format makes it easy to settle in and connect with others. Can I come with a friend? Yes, of course. Just bear in mind the event is designed to encourage connection with the whole room, not only the person you arrive with. Are food and drinks included in the ticket? No, food and drinks can be purchased at the bar. Sometimes we can provide discounts. What if I have dietary requirements? Please check directly with the venue before attending if you have specific dietary needs. The menu is usually available on their website. What time should I arrive? Please arrive on time so everyone can settle in properly before we begin. Arriving late upsets the experience for others. How often do these happen? Unseen run London's deepest monthly social events with new event concepts landing regularly. Are there any behaviour rules? Yes. Be respectful and do not make the event uncomfortable for others. Harassment or harmful behaviour is not acceptable. What should I do if there’s an issue on the day? Speak to one of the hosts during the event, or email us afterwards so we can look into it properly. Please note: Experiences and perspectives may be discussed, but this is not a therapeutic space and does not provide medical or psychological advice.
