SVVR 102: META CONNECT WEEK Join us Thursday, September 24, 7pm at Frontier Tower in San Francisco, in the Spaceship on the 2nd floor. It's Meta Connect week, so expect a mix of regulars plus a healthy dose of visiting XR geniuses from around the world. (However, our lawyers insist that this is not an "official" Meta Connect event.) We'll start at 7:00 with a brief SVVR intro, and then a talk by Julian Reyes before we roll into demos, food, drink and fun. Two new headset demos: Pico Project Swan + Steam Frame! Julian Reyes is the founder and director of the Virtual Worlds Museum, which exists to explore, preserve, and showcase the evolution of immersive worlds. He received the AUREA Impact Award in 2025 and is a juror for the 2026 award. Previously at Meta, Cisco, and Exponent, and a speaker at AWE XR, Immersive X, and Immerse Global. He co-leads the XR Guild Library. PICO: Our sponsor will be onsite to talk about their new developer program and they will have their new HMD the Space Pro (formerly Project Swan) to show off: a lightweight, dual-chip mixed reality flagship headset designed for spatial computing and wearable workstations. DARK ARTS SYNDICATE: Our sponsor is promoting their brand new game studio, fresh from running Global Developer Relations for Reality Labs, Melissa Brown will be on site to see your demos and chat publishing. STEAM FRAME DEMO: Boxtree makes magical tabletop games for mixed reality. They just released Table Space on Steam Frame, where you can create and play cross-platform with friends on Quest and Vision Pro. They will be demoing Table Space on Steam Frame in mixed reality using the Arcturus Vision Camera at this event. βββ SVVR 102 is sponsored by: π₯½ PICO XR [https://www.picoxr.com] β Take a look at Pico 4 Ultra and chat about Pico's upcoming Project Swan device! π DARK ARTS SYNDICATE [https://www.darkarts.game] β Check out their site and keep an eye out for Melissa at the event. π§ BECOME A SPONSOR of the biggest VR community in the world.
