Make & Wander | A Creative Afternoon in Poulsbo

Come spend a Wednesday afternoon creating, wandering, and exploring Poulsbo with The Third Place Society.

We’ll begin at Stones + Paper, where we can spend some time in their Makers Lounge choosing our own creative projects. From there, we’ll head into historic downtown Poulsbo to wander the shops, find something good to eat or drink, and enjoy the waterfront together.
There’s no single project everyone has to make. Choose what interests you, purchase your own activity, and create alongside the women who join us. Afterward, we’ll see where the afternoon takes us.

A note about how these early outings work: The Third Place Society is still new, so for now I’m planning our outings as individual experiences rather than making prepaid group reservations or guaranteeing a specific number of spaces. I’m planning something I intend to do, and you’re invited to come experience it with me.
Your RSVP is incredibly helpful because it gives me an idea of who to expect. Even more helpful is following through on your RSVP whenever possible so I can have a realistic sense of our group size.
Because we’re participating as individuals, there may occasionally be an outing where more women arrive than a business can accommodate at once. If that happens, flexibility is part of the adventure. We may divide into smaller groups, rotate through an activity, explore something nearby while others participate, or make a different plan together. We’ll figure it out.
As The Third Place Society develops a more consistent group of women, we’ll be able to plan experiences that require reserved spaces, advance headcounts, group bookings, or prepayment. For now, we’re keeping the barrier to entry low, getting to know one another, and leaving ourselves room to explore.

Cost & Participation

This is a pay-your-own-way outing. Each woman is responsible for purchasing her own Makers Lounge activity and anything else she chooses to purchase throughout the afternoon. Your Meetup RSVP does not reserve or pay for an activity.
