Safari Wine Tour and Giraffe Experience at Grapetown Vineyard

The wine is great and the manicured grounds with over 300 exotic animals is spectacular. This is a one of a kind experience, not to be missed. Purchase a ticket for the 1 PM tour and you will get a Wine tasting (4 tastings), Walking tour, Safari Tram, Giraffe Interaction/Feeding. The tour also includes a hamburger, hot dog, or catfish.

The Giraffe Plus Full Safari Wine Tour all inclusive pass includes your Giraffe Experience plus a Wine Tasting, a walking tour through our petting zoo and a guided Tram Tour to see all of our 300 plus exotic animals and rescue residents. The wine tasting includes 4 tastings. Before or after your wine tasting, a trained Animal Care Professional will shuttle you via our brand-new Zebra Tram on a behind-the-scenes tour of our exotic wildlife and ranch operations. You will see and possibly feed our animal family of farm and exotic animals like Camels, Zebras, Alpacas, Bison and Longhorn! We also raise Boer, Ponies, Nigerian Dwarf, African Pygmy and Saanen Dairy Goats, and even some Donkeys. Please be on time - arrive by 12:30 for the 1:00 PM start time. Your pass includes a meal at the Bankersmith Boil Shack at 7905 Old San Antonio Road Fredericksburg Texas 78624! You can choose from a hamburger, hotdog or catfish. The Boil Shack is located on the same farm and property, but across the street from the Giraffe Winery at Grapetown Vineyard and Farm.

Grapetown Vineyard offers tremendous views, award winning wines and exotic animals that thrive on our working, family farm. Grapetown Vineyard is home to Fredericksburg’s only winery and giraffe experience with a full bar (liquor, beer and wine) and animal sanctuary on site! Come and enjoy our petting zoo, feed and take a picture with a giraffe and ride on our tram over 85 beautiful acres!
