This trail starts by going on the East Walk which is a relatively easy track with gentle undulations and some rocks along the path. Varying vegetation and very pretty at certain times of year with the green undergrowth. This track takes you around the mountain and up to the peak where great views to Melbourne. The trail begins with a summit of Flinders Peak before following the Northern Ranges trail and starting the circuit around the mountain. Enjoy making your way through lovely Aussie bush with lots of rock formations on either side of the track and expansive views to Geelong.
Lets meet at the Turntable Carpark at 915 for a 930 start- hike should take 4 hours and a bit.
