Nov 2026: 10th Anniversary Panel Session

Meetup – Thursday\, 12th November 2026 | 7:00 PM
Venue: Waterford Treasures Museum (X91 K10E)

In November 2016, Waterford Tech Meetup held its first gathering, bringing together people working in tech to share ideas, experiences and make connections.

A decade later, the technology landscape looks very different. We've seen massive advances in AI, changes in how and where we work, the emergence of new technologies and industries, and plenty of predictions about the future - some more accurate than others! To celebrate 10 years of Waterford Tech Meetup this November, we're doing something a little different.

Instead of our usual two-speaker format, we're bringing together a special panel featuring some familiar faces from our Meetups over the years. Together, they'll reflect on how the industry has evolved since 2016, explore the opportunities and challenges facing the sector today, and share their thoughts on where technology might take us over the next decade.

Meet our anniversary panel:

Marco Troisi – Founder / Consultant, O2A Labs
John Frizelle - Founder\, Alludium; Partner\, SVV
Sophie Renshaw - Senior AI Quality Engineer\, Workhuman
John Rellis – Lecturer / Programme Lead
Richard Rodger - CEO\, Voxgig

And we'd love you to help shape the discussion!

We'll be inviting our Meetup community to suggest questions and topics they'd like the panel to explore so keep an eye out for a short survey coming your way next week, where you'll have the chance to tell us what you'd most like to hear about. We'll use your suggestions to help guide the conversation on the night.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
