AuDHD Women (Special) Interest Overshare Picnic

See you Saturday, 19th September, from 2pm–6pm at Regent’s Park for an AuDHD Women (Special) Interest Overshare PICNIC 🧺🍕🌿🍷🥐🍰☕️ Where: Regent’s Park When: Saturday, 19th September Time: 2pm–6pm Bring yourself, something to sit on, some food/drinks, and come ready to talk about whatever you are currently very, very interested in. Special interests, hyperfixations, niche obsessions, random research rabbit holes, things you have been meaning to tell someone about but never quite know when it is socially acceptable to give the full version: this is the event for it. 😄 You do not need to prepare anything or have a particular special interest to come. You can also just listen, chat, eat, meet people, wander around a bit, or join in whenever you feel like it. Hopefully it will be a relaxed afternoon where nobody has to worry too much about whether they are talking too much about something they love. Bring whatever you fancy for the picnic: snacks, pizza, coffee, juice, wine, beer etc. We’ll probably share some things too, so if you do not bring anything there will be things there. ADHD, ADD, Autism/ASD, AuDHD: all diagnoses welcome, and if you suspect you might be neurodivergent and want to meet people or chat before getting a diagnosis, you are also very welcome. We’ll be there from 2pm until around 6pm, so it’s fine if you can’t come exactly at 2 or need to leave earlier. The exact spot in Regent’s Park will be shared closer to the day, and I’ll share/live-share the location so people can find us once we’re there. Hopefully we get one of those nice early-autumn London afternoons — still warm enough to sit outside, with just a few leaves starting to fall. 🍂 About me: I’m Leela. I was diagnosed with both ADHD and then Autism last year. I originally joined this group because I wanted to meet women who have similar diagnoses and potentially similar struggles, but also just to spend some time with people who might understand certain things without them needing quite so much explaining. After the original organiser left as organiser, I took over the group, changed the graphics and the name to include all of London. We’ve had a couple of meet-ups since, and I’d love for these events and they were all very fun and relaxed. Hope you join us! See you on Saturday the 19th 🌿 Leela.
