Temple & Garden Meditation @ The Baha'i House of Worship

\An offering from the sister Sangha up north! Weather permitting we hope that causes and conditions will allow you to be present with us as we come together for practice at one of the areas most beautiful Temples, The Baha'i House of Worship. Located at: 100 Linden Ave. in Wilmette, IL (Sheridan and Linden). Take 94 to Lake Ave. East then proceed to Sheridan, turn right (south) until reaching Linden. Phone: (847) 853-2300. Parking is available on Linden or in the Temple's parking lot (only while you are on their grounds). Plan to arrive in advance of our start time since often times parking can be a challenge. We will meet at the top of the stairway in front of the Temple doors at 2:15 pm before entering the Temple together at 2:30 pm. Once inside we will get settled and then sit in silence for one thirty minute period. Afterwards we will proceed to one of the lovely gardens for some mindful movement practices followed by another thirty minute period of either walking, sitting, standing or any combination of those types of meditation. Finally there will be time for some informal conversation and if you'd like, to stop by the visitors center before departing. This meetup should end by approximately 4:00 pm.
