New Orleans Uncovering Local Stories Through Mentorship

We are getting together to talk about the hidden corners of New Orleans history and how we can better document the stories that often get left out of the archives. This event is for anyone interested in local history who wants to learn from those who have been researching our city for years. Whether you have a specific project you are working on or you are just curious about the process of uncovering community narratives, this is a space to share questions and insights.

The evening will be informal, focusing on how mentorship can help us dig deeper into our neighborhoods and personal family histories. We want to hear what you are working on and help connect you with others who might offer a fresh perspective or guidance. Please come ready to listen, share, and connect with fellow enthusiasts who care about preserving the real story of this city.
