Time Will Tell Theatre will perform a specially commissioned play - Our Little Fort.
This moving short play is about George Weston and John Stanisforth, two soldiers who were stationed at the Fort for some of the First World War, and wrote letters and diaries describing their time there.
'The Weston and Stanisforth letters our play is based on offer a lovely personal insight into the life of Fort Nelson at the end of the First World War, offering us a personal view of what life was like for a soldier during training or when recuperating. They also give us an idea of how establishments like the Fort, built for other purposes in a different time were utilised during the war.' Time Will Tell Theatre
Performances at 11:30am,
