\Discussion topics will be updated about a week in advance. The date will be here instead of this message!

Halfway down the invite you will find what we will be talking about to start in our small groups. Feel free to translate and write out your answers in advance to bring with you!\

Ciao! Benvenuto nella nostra pratica linguistica!

This gathering will take place every other week with a rotating topic and prompts. New prompts will be posted about one week in advance.

We will start with introductions as a large group and then break into groups of 4-6 people so everyone can have a chance to ask and answer the questions of the week. Feel free to come with your answers written. I use Google Translate to help with writing questions, and I welcome corrections. Grazie!

In questa sessione parleremo di salute.

1. In quali occasioni prendi delle medicine e quando consulti un medico? Hai mai cercato informazioni online e perché? Cosa ne pensi dell’utilizzo dell’intelligenza artificiale per le informazione sanitarie?
2. Hai mai provato la medicina alternativa? Che tipo di trattamenti?
3. Come ti rilassi quando sei molto stressato o stanco?
4. Cosa ne pensi del sistema sanitario del nostro Paese? Quali sono i maggiori benefici e i problemi maggiori?

Feel free to share beyond these prompts and ask others questions. Feel free to come prepared to say you don't understand or you need to hear something repeated. These phrases may be helpful:

Non capisco.
Puoi parlare lentamente, per favore?
Puoi ripetere, per favore?
Parla inglese, per favore!
Come si dice... ?

These days, we tend to stay longer than the official end time, but feel free to leave when you need to! If you can, please arrive on time in order to get a beverage or snack so we can start with introductions by 11:15 am! Grazie!

Feel free to make suggestions for what you'd like to practice speaking about!
