Entre Viagens: A book club, but for travel stories. - 1st Event 🌍

Have you ever come back from a trip with so many stories to tell, but struggled to find people who could truly relate to your experiences?
I'm Gonçalo, and this idea came from my own experience with PA-LO Por Todos!, a project that took me across five Portuguese-speaking African countries. Through this experience, I discovered places, met incredible people, learned about different realities and lived moments that are difficult to put into words, especially when the people around you haven't had similar experiences. I often wished I could sit down with people who understood what it was like to travel this way, exchange stories and talk about the places and experiences that stayed with us.

That's why I created Entre Viagens. Think of it as a book club, but instead of discussing books, we share our travel stories. A space for people who love travelling, exploring beyond the usual tourist experience and discovering the world through different perspectives.

Whether you've travelled solo, spent months abroad, taken a gap year, explored a country in an unconventional way or embarked on a meaningful project overseas, this is a place to share your experiences with people who are genuinely interested in hearing them.

Let's meet for a coffee, get to know each other and share some of our favourite travel stories: the adventures, the unexpected encounters, the places that surprised us and the experiences we could talk about for hours.

There's no formal presentation, no travel planning and no pressure. Just people who love travelling, sharing stories and discovering where other people's travels have taken them.

🕒 Time: 15:00–16:30

🗣️ Language: I am a Portuguese-native speaker. However, this event will be conducted in English in the case some non-Portuguese speaker joins.

☕ Cost: No event fee. Everyone pays for their own consumption.
