Overview
A seasonal gathering to connect with yourself, your community, and the natural world.

Earth Rhythms Circle is an ongoing seasonal gathering at Heirloom East Bay designed to help us slow down, connect, and join together in meaningful community.

Each circle is inspired by the season and offers thoughtfully curated guided practices, ceremonies, and activities to deepen our connection to nature, ourselves, and each other.

You don’t need to follow a particular spiritual tradition or have any previous experience. Come as you are, participate at your own pace, and connect in whatever way feels meaningful to you.

🌿 Why Gather?
Throughout human history, gathering has been woven into the rhythms of life. With music, art, and ceremony, we have gathered together to mark seasons, share stories, celebrate, reflect, and support each other through the seasons of life.

Modern life can make connection harder to find. At times, many of us move through our days feeling disconnected—from nature, from meaning, from our creativity, and sometimes from one another.

Earth Rhythms Circle offers a space to reconnect.

Together, we’ll create opportunities to slow down, notice the season we’re in, reconnect with the natural world, and remember that we don’t have to move through life alone.

🌾 The Setting
We gather at Heirloom East Bay, a beautiful working farm in the Castro Valley hills.

Surrounded by open land, gardens, and animals—including the resident goats!—the farm offers a unique opportunity to step away from everyday life and be more present with the natural world.

✨ What a Typical Circle Includes
Each gathering will be shaped by the season, so no two circles will be exactly alike. A typical circle may include:

Welcome
Arrive early to settle in, explore the land, visit with the animals, grab a snack, and meet fellow participants.
Grounding
A guided reflection to prepare for the day and set intentions, followed by a mindful nature walk to connect with the land.
Ceremonial Practice
A guided ceremony, creative practice, or seasonal activity exploring the themes and rhythms of the season.
Embodiment & Integration
An immersive sound bath, somatic movement, yoga, meditation, or another body-based practice designed to support reflection and integration.
Community
Time for sharing, conversation, and connection within a thoughtfully facilitated and welcoming space.

🤍 Who Is This For?
Earth Rhythms Circle is for anyone who is looking for:

A deeper connection to nature and the rhythms of the seasons
Space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself
Opportunities for creativity, exploration, and personal growth

🌎 An Inclusive Space
Earth Rhythms Circle is open to adults 18+ of all identities and backgrounds.

All religious and spiritual backgrounds are welcome, including those who do not identify with a spiritual tradition. The circle is not based on any specific religion or set of beliefs.

You are always empowered to bring your full self, exactly as you are, and choose your own level of participation.

🌱 What to Bring

Your Circle Leaders

Julia: Social Worker and Ceremonialist | Founder\, EveryDay Sacred: Ceremonies & Circles

A social worker by day, Julia has experience in a range of social service, community education, advocacy, and mental health care settings.

Julia is also a trained ceremonialist and experienced circle leader. EveryDay Sacred grew as a passion project out of that work. She works with people one-on-one to create personalized ceremonies, as well as with groups to foster authentic community circles.

She is an experienced meditation practitioner in a variety of traditions and is a Certified Facilitator of a modernized versionof the Tibetan Chod practice. She often brings this background into her work, leading guided meditations and practices for individuals and groups.

Julia believes ceremony and community are vitally important to our holistic well-being. Whether celebrating joys, grieving losses, or honoring rites of passage, we thrive when we make time and space for what is meaningful. With deep respect for individual needs and personal belief systems, she is committed to helping create spaces where people can honor what is sacred in our everyday lives.
