Session 6: The Minor Arcana – Pentacles

Foundations of Tarot Series
Welcome to Session 6 of the Foundations of Tarot Series! In our previous session, we explored the fiery energy of Wands and how the suit inspires us to take action, pursue our passions, and embrace new opportunities.
Now, we’ll shift our focus to the Suit of Pentacles and the element of earth, where we’ll explore the practical side of life and the foundations we build in the physical world.

In this session, we’ll take a deep dive into the Suit of Pentacles and discover how these cards speak to career, finances, health, home, security, abundance, and personal values.

Together, we’ll explore the symbolism, themes, and progression of the suit so you can better understand how Pentacles appear in readings and the messages they communicate. The goal is to look beyond money alone and recognize Pentacles as a reflection of how we cultivate stability, use our resources, and invest in the life we’re creating.

Class Materials
The presentation, slides, and instructional materials used during this session are original course materials created for the Foundations of Tarot Series. They will be shown during class but will not be distributed afterward.
Participants are encouraged to take their own notes and have a tarot deck available for guided practice.

Community Expectations
This is a judgment-free learning environment. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience level or spiritual background. Questions, alternative interpretations, and constructive feedback are encouraged.
Creating this series requires significant research, preparation, time, and resources. Please engage with the facilitator, the material, and fellow participants respectfully. Hostile, disruptive, or personally disparaging behavior may result in removal from the session or future classes.

About the Series
This class is part of a nine-session Foundations of Tarot series. While you’re welcome to attend individual sessions, each class builds upon the previous one. Attending in order will provide the most complete learning experience.

About Your Facilitator
Hi, I’m Vee, the reader behind That Priestess Tarot. I created this community because I believe tarot should be accessible, thought-provoking, and rooted in genuine discussion. Whether you’re opening your first deck or have been reading for years, my hope is that you’ll leave each session with a deeper understanding of the cards and of yourself.

Up Next
Session 7: The Minor Arcana – Cups
We’ll explore the suit of emotions, intuition, relationships, and healing. We’ll also examine how the element of water shapes the stories told through the Cups.
