55 Puerh : From Caravan Trails to Modern Cups: The Story & Taste of Puerh Tea

Dear tea lovers,
We are back with our tea meetups! This November, we invite you around the table to discover the world and the living story of puerh tea.

Unlike everyday garden tea, Yunnan’s puerh comes from broad leaf trees growing wild in misty mountain forests.
Centuries ago, these leaves were pressed into cakes and carried by pack mules across the Ancient Tea Horse Road, aging naturally with every mile traveled.

Over time, that rustic borderland staple transformed into one of the world's most prized, living teas.
Together, we’ll hear the story of puerh while tasting our way through it. We will share fresh and aged "raw" puerh alongside deep, comforting "ripe" puerh, exploring how their flavors shift with each steep and leave a lingering, sweet finish.
