Autumn has arrived! The weather is mild, making it the perfect season for hiking!

In this trip, we’ll go to Mt.Konze in Shiga prefecture, then move to Kyoto, rest at Onsen and go to night light up of Autumn leaves of Toji temple !!

【About Mt. Konze】
In the past, Japan learned culture and politics from the Korean Peninsula, welcoming many immigrants who cooperated in building the Great Buddha at Todaiji Temple in Nara during the 8th century.

A Korean family known as the "Konze" used to live in this area, which is why the mountain is called Konze. Like Mt. Atago and Mt. Katsuragi, this place was also beloved by Shugendo mountain ascetics for many years.

From the summit, we can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Biwa, the Meishin Expressway, and even Mie Prefecture. We will also be able to enjoy beautiful autumn foliage alongside water features.

The hiking duration will be around 4 to 5 hours, including a lunch break. Since there are many rocky areas, the difficulty level is intermediate. I strongly recommend bringing trekking shoes.

【Time Schedule】

08:55 – Meet at Kusatsu Station ticket gate

For those coming from Osaka Station:

08:00 – Take the Special Rapid train bound for Maibara
08:52 – Arrive at Kusatsu Station

From Kusatsu Station:

09:05 – Take the bus
09:31 – Arrive at the starting point

Hiking (Approx. 4.5 hours, including lunch):

14:20 (approx.) – Hike finishes. Otsukare-sama deshita! 🎉
14:45 – Take the bus back to Kusatsu Station
15:04 – Arrive at Kusatsu Station

After Kusatsu Station:

15:14 – Take the Special Rapid train, transfer to the Kintetsu Line at Kyoto Station
15:49 – Arrive at Takeda Station

To heal our tired bodies!Then... – Head to Toji Temple to see the breathtaking night illumination of the autumn leaves!!

秋の心地よい気候の中、ハイキングにぴったりの季節がやってきました！今回のイベントでは、滋賀県の金勝山（こんぜやま）で絶景ハイキングを楽しんだ後、京都へ移動して温泉で汗を流し、さらに東寺の幻想的な紅葉ライトアップへと向かいます！！

【金勝山について】
古の時代、日本が朝鮮半島から多くの文化や政治を取り入れていた頃、渡来人たちが協力し合い、8世紀の奈良・東寺（大仏建立）に深く関わっていた歴史があります。この地に「金勝（こんぜ）」の一族が暮らしていたことが、山の名前の由来となりました。 また、愛宕山や葛城山と並び、古くから修験道の行者たちにも愛されてきた歴史ある山です。山頂からは、琵琶湖や名神高速道路、遠くは三重県まで見渡せる大パノラマが広がります。水辺に映える美しい紅葉も必見です！ハイキングはランチ休憩を含めて約4〜5時間を予定しています。 岩場の多い中級者向けコースとなりますので、トレッキングシューズの着用を強くおすすめします。

（ハイキング：約4.5時間・ランチ含む）

14:20頃 – 下山完了。お疲れ様でした！ 🎉
14:45 – バスに乗車し草津駅へ
15:04 – 草津駅 到着

（草津駅以降の移動）

15:14 – 新快速で京都駅へ、京都駅で近鉄線に乗り換え
15:49 – 竹田駅 到着

♨ 温泉でハイキングの疲れをリフレッシュ！その後、東寺へ移動し、美しい紅葉のライトアップを満喫します！！
